The nymphs that Dan offers are all constructed with the bead head feature. The Tungsten bead head gives maximum sinking capability making an extra weigh unnecessary and providing the drag to take the nymph to the stream area where bottom feeders will be most likely to detect and respond to the nymph. The flies are designed to assimilate the nymphal life that trout naturally find attractive.

Caddis flies are nocturnal. They usually hatch in the evening and are found dispersed throughout the area the follow day. The hatch season ranges from the beginning of July through the middle of September. Caddis are a substantial food in the trouts diet, and the artificial patterns are a close resemblance to the real insect. Caddis may be used effectively throughout the dry fly season.

Copper Johns have become a favorite nymph especially for use as a dry dropper fished below a large dry fly. Color choices vary depending on the season and the stream location but you can almost always depend on the red or green variety.

Grasshoppers were plentiful this summer and the fisherman's copy was highly successful in attracting the area trout. Hand tied hoppers look so like the real thing that sometimes even we are tricked. The trout are equally tantalized especially if they are hungry.
